5th Annual Raft for the Cure
The 5th Annual Raft for the Cure to benefit the Susan G. Komen Foundation will be held on August 27, 2011.
Think Pink on Saturday, August 27, 2011. The Ocoee Middle rafting trip is scheduled for a 2:00 pm departure with a reception honoring breast cancer survivors at 6:00 pm. Wildwater's 4th Annual Raft for the Cure was held Saturday, August 28, 2010. The reception was at 6:00 pm under the Pavillion at the Ocoee Outpost. Music was provided by Nathan and Eddie Parris and Shea Pack. There was a record breaking 130+ in attendance including TN Senator Mike Bell and his wife, Lisa. There was great food, great music. The highlight of the evening was honoring the beautiful ladies who are fighting breast cancer. A donation check in the amount of $3,449.86 was presented to Jenna Karn, Susan G. Komen for the Cure Affiliate Coordinator.
