Experience a real Canopy Tour and Zipline Adventure that takes you into the trees with Plumtree Canopy Tours. More than just a 3 hour zipline
experience, enjoy 11 zips and 4 sky bridges while learning about the
trees, wildlife habitats, community of Plumtree, the vast underground
mines, the hey days of the early to mid-1900’s, and how this region of
peaks soaring 5500 feet above sea level remains a world leader today.
Operated by the professionals from Nantahala Gorge Canopy Tours,
Plumtree flies you 60 feet above Isaac’s Branch Creek, launches you from “Rock & Roll” and zips you past trees and mountainsides
on “The Zinger.”
All equipment is provided including the added security of a full-body
harness, helmet, trolley, gloves, and 2 professional canopy rangers per group.
Included with all Plumtree Canopy Tours is a fabulous lunch or the famous Sunday Brunch experience at The Vance Toe River Lodge. Morning canopy tours will have lunch after their tour and afternoon canopy tours will have lunch before their tour.

All flyers must be in good physical condition. Flyers must be at least 10 years old and between 70 and 250 lbs. Closed-toe shoes required, modest clothing and collared-shirt recommended.
Located in the heart of western North Carolina’s High Country on US Hwy 19E, 5 miles from Linville Gorge, 14 miles north of Spruce Pine, just a short drive from Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Boone, and Asheville. Plumtree is located in Avery County NC. Due to the twists and turns the roads take it is difficult to give mileage information, but, we can tell you that it is located15 minutes from Linville Gorge, an excellent park for camping, hiking and spelunking! Located just 30 minutes away from Grandfather Mountain, and 45 minutes from Boone and Appalachian State University.
