Wildwater's Mountain View Canoe
Join us in the Smokies for a Canoe Escape from the crowds and hustle of Pigeon Forge. Just minutes from the Parkway in Pigeon Forge you can float along a Smoky Mountain stream in a canoe or sit-on-top kayak through quiet forests, lush moss-covered cliffs and rolling hillsides.
Minimum Age is 3 years old.
2.5-3 hours on the river.

Fun beginner whitewater waiting to be discovered in the heart of the Smokies along the Pigeon Forge/ Gatlinburg Spur. This is a new and exclusive river experience only available from Wildwater Rafting. Explore the treasures of the Little Pigeon River with swift whitewater rapids, shoots, and turns hidden from view along the Spur. Areas of calm shallow shoals are mixed with fun rapids and bold smoky mountain scenery. No previous experience is necessary but this is an "on-your-own" river experience. Call for more information and reservations.

WHITEWATER RIVER RAFTING in the SMOKY MOUNTAINS

The Big Pigeon River's close proximity to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg Tennessee / Pigeon Forge Tennessee, Maggie Valley North Carolina and Asheville North Carolina provides an exciting whitewater river rafting trip for the entire family and your family vacation.

Five miles of class III and IV rapids provide a fun, fast-paced smoky mountain whitewater rafting run through rapids named Powerhouse, Big Rock, Roller Coaster, Lost Guide, and Chubbie Checker. Rafting trips Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Pigeon River whitewater rafting scheduled water release days are Tuesday through Thursday plus Saturday.

Upper Pigeon
The Upper Pigeon carves a gorge through the Great Smoky Mountains. White water rafters are immediately confronted with fast moving water and standing waves. Great Smoky Mountains trip for families. 2 hours, 1 1/2 hours on the river, fully guided. Class II- IV rapids create five miles of pure rafting fun and excitement. Minimum age or weight to whitewater raft the Upper Pigeon is 8 years or 70 lbs. Prices vary. Please email or call for prices.

Lower Pigeon
Fully guided trips on the lower section of the Pigeon are a great introduction to white water rafting fun for anyone from four years to senior. The lazy rapids will thrill your younsters or any new rafters with no whitewater rafting experience while showing off breathtaking views of the Smokies. 2 hours, 1 1/2 hours on the river, fully guided. A great river rafting float trip and introduction to rafting for anyone ages 4-84. Minimum age to raft the Lower Pigeon 4 years.
NOTE: Some outfitters only raft 1/3 or 1/2 of the Lower Pigeon. Wildwater includes the complete 5 mile stretch and all the fun rapids!

Adventure Climbing Wall Combo
Add more adventure to your trip by upgrading with a climbing session on Wildwater's climbing wall. Try out our 40' climbing wall and New verticle obstacle course at our Big Pigeon Rafting Center. Our trained staff will help all participants with the safety gear and will assist your climb with basic climbing instruction. Families, church groups, and individuals ages 6 and up can add on this activity for a great adventure combination.
