Welcome to Jawbone Cabin!
A stay in Jawbone Cabin is a comfortable and relaxing addition to your adventure mountain vacation. A short walk from the Wildwater Chattooga Adventure Center and Chattooga Ridge Canopy Tours, you can enjoy whitewater rafting, zipline canopy tours, lake kayaking, hiking & many other outdoor activities.
Location:
Jawbone Cabin is located at 110 Raines Rd., just around the corner from the Wildwater Chattooga Adventure Center and Chattooga Ridge Canopy Tours property.
Jawbone Cabin Check-in:
You will find the key to Jawbone Cabin in a mailbox located on the porch of the reddish-brown office building at Wildwater, located at the end of the main parking lot. This mailbox will contain an envelope with your name and a key for the cabin.
Please checkout before your trip! We ask that if you are not staying in the cabin the night after your days activities, please checkout so we can clean for our next Guests, THANKS!
NO SMOKING OR PETS IN ANY UNITS! There will be a $100 fee for smoking or pets.

Checkout 10:30am Latest (Please lock the door and leave the key at the main Wildwater office)

Directions:
Jawbone Cabin is located at 110 Raines Rd., just around the corner from the Wildwater Chattooga Adventure Center, one and one half mile north of US Hwy. 76 in the community of Long Creek, SC. Please check your map to confirm driving routes.
Please pick up your key at the main office of Wildwater. To get your cabin key, turn left out of the cabin parking lot onto Raines Rd. and continue to the stop sign. Turn left, go 100 yards and turn left into the Wildwater main parking lot. On the porch of the main office there will be a mailbox, in the mailbox will be an envelope with your name and the key.
From Clayton, GA- Follow US 76 east 8 miles to the Chattooga River Bridge. Continue for 3 miles then turn left at the Wildwater Ltd. Sign on Raines Rd. (SC 339). After traveling 2 miles, you will see Jawbone Cabin on your left. Pick up keys at the Wildwater office (red building at end of Chattooga Adventure Center parking lot).
From Westminster, SC- Follow US Hwy. 76 west 15 miles to the first paved right, Academy Rd., in the community of Long Creek, SC. Follow Academy Rd. 1 mile to Wildwater and Raines Rd. Turn left on Raines Rd., Jawbone Continue 100 yds & Jawbone Cabin will be located on your right. Pick up keys at the Wildwater office (red building at end of Chattooga Adventure Center parking lot).
From Walhalla, SC- Follow US Hwy. 28 North past the Stumphouse Mountain Ranger Station to the paved left at Mountain Top Trading Post (Whetstone Rd.). After turning right on Whetstone Rd. go ¾ mile and take the first paved left at the long Creek sign, Cassidy Bridge Road. Continue 7.3 miles to the 3 –way stop. Turn left and proceed 0.2 miles past the Chattooga Adventure Center to the first paved right, Raines Rd. Jawbone Cabin will be 100 yards on your right. Pick up keys at the Wildwater office (red building at end of Chattooga Ridge Adventure Center parking lot).
From Cashiers & Highlands, NC- Follow US 107 or US 28 South to the intersections of US 107 and US 28. Continue 1.9 miles south on US 28/107 to the paved right at Mountain Top; Trading Post (Whetstone Rd.). After turning right on Whetstone Rd. go ¾ mile and take the first paved left at the long Creek sign, Cassidy Bridge Road. Continue 7.3 miles to the 3 –way stop.
