Wildwater offers a range of trips that are perfect for church youth groups, sports teams, boy scouts, girl scouts, school groups or any group of young people. We offer a complete range of trips that include: Fun class I float on the Lower Pigeon, Beginner class II run on the Nantahala, Intermediate Class III - IV trips on the Ocoee, Chattooga and Pigeon, Class IV+ on the Chattooga. Additionally, for a complete wilderness experience for your group, Wildwater offers an Overnight camping trip on the Chattooga that includes two full days of rafting. All of the Wildwater Adventure Centers offer zipline/canopy tours with Adventure America Zipline Canopy Tours, We also offer a zipline/canopy tour in Asheville with Asheville Zipline Canopy Adventures.
Looking for the perfect place for your group to stay? Wildwater offers group accommodation at our Falling Waters Group Lodge on the Nantahala. This is the perfect place for your youth group. Bunk bed accommodation, bathrooms in every bunkroom and a group kitchen and dining room make this an affordable option perfect for groups visiting the Nantahala or Ocoee Rivers. The Wildwater Chattooga Adventure Center offers several levels of lodging including cottages, Jawbone Cabin and our newest group lodging at Yurts with bunks & the Commons multi-purpose kitchen/bath house.
Wildwater also works with a number of lodging partners that provide group accommodations near all of our rafting centers. Coker Creek Village at the Ocoee,Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center near the Pigeon and Camp Chatuga near the Chattooga all offer group lodging and activities. We offer climbing walls at both our Chattooga and Pigeon River Activity Centers as well as a full High Ropes and Low Ropes course at our Chattooga Adventure Center. Combine a river trip with a ropes course and let our experienced facilitators help your group or team develop their communication skills, peer leadership abilities, trust, team work and self-esteem.
We can also help your group arrange other activities to complement your stay with Wildwater including: Jeep Tours, inflatable kayak rentals, Raft & Rail trips, kayak touring, canoe & kayak clinics, horseback riding, mountain biking, campfires and hiking on the pristine rivers and trails of the area. Most activities are available near each Adventure Center location. Wildwater can tailor the ideal trip to suit your youth group. Transportation to and from our lodging partners can be arranged.
