Kayak Touring on Lake Tugaloo

For a more relaxing trip, try a leisurely touring kayak trip on scenic Lake Tugaloo. Join our professional guide to experience this beautiful lake formed by the National Wild and Scenic Chattooga River and the Tallulah River Gorge. Surrounded by Sumter National Forest in SC and Chattahoochee National Forest in GA, this is truly a spectacular way to enjoy the serenity of nature and water.

Your experience includes informative interpretation of the cultural and natural history in the area, scenic waterfalls, swimming, lunch, and approximately four miles of lake, mountain & Chattooga River scenery. Wildwater provides a professional guide, all necessary equipment, tandem (two-person) or solo (one-person) kayaks, lunch, and a snack. Trips are great for individuals, small groups, and families with younger children. All Lake Tugaloo Kayak Tours launch at the Lake Tugaloo boat ramp and do not require the 1/4 mile hike associated with other Chattooga trips.
